Terms of service

Effective August 18, 2026. By accessing or using Chinese Stroke Order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Questions may be sent to support@chinesestrokeorder.net.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to enter a binding agreement in your location, or use the Service with permission and supervision from a parent, guardian, school, or authorized adult. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account unless prohibited by law.

Educational service and Free access

The Service provides reference, handwriting, worksheet, vocabulary, HSK, review, and related educational tools. Content may contain errors and does not guarantee examination results, fluency, certification, or a particular outcome. Free features and limits may change as we maintain the Service, provided changes do not remove an already-paid entitlement without an appropriate remedy.

Pro plans and payment authorization

Current prices, included features, and plan choices appear on the Pro payment page. Prices are displayed in USD unless checkout states otherwise; applicable taxes, currency conversion, or provider charges may apply. By confirming payment, you authorize Waffo and its partners to charge the selected amount and share transaction status with us so we can provision access.

Quarterly subscription

Quarterly Pro costs $5.90 per three-month billing period and automatically renews for another three months using the payment method accepted at checkout until stopped. You may stop renewal at any time from your account. Stopping renewal prevents the next quarterly charge; paid Pro access continues through the end of the current paid billing period and then returns to Free limits from the next subscription cycle. Submit cancellation before the provider begins processing the next renewal. Failed or reversed payments may suspend access.

One-time annual and lifetime purchases

The 1-Year Pro plan ($15.90) and Lifetime Pro plan ($25.90) are one-time payments and do not auto-renew. One-year access expires one year after confirmed fulfillment. “Lifetime” means access for the commercially supported life of this Service and account, not the lifetime of an individual, device, company, or a guaranteed minimum number of years. We may replace or retire features while preserving substantially equivalent access where reasonably possible.

Refund and cancellation policy

Quarterly subscription: you may stop future renewals at any time, but completed charges for the current three-month period are generally non-refundable and are not prorated; access continues through that paid period and ends when the next cycle would otherwise begin. Annual and lifetime: these are one-time digital-access purchases. Once payment is confirmed, server capacity, account entitlements, and digital learning resources are allocated immediately, so these purchases are non-refundable. These limits do not override mandatory consumer rights. Contact support promptly about duplicate charges, unauthorized transactions, failure to provision paid access, or a billing error so we can investigate and provide any remedy required by law or payment-network rules.

Acceptable use

Do not break laws; harm others; probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the Service except where law permits; bypass rate limits or access controls; share or resell account access; automate excessive requests; upload malicious code; impersonate others; or violate intellectual-property, privacy, or third-party license rights. We may restrict activity reasonably believed to threaten users, providers, or the Service.

Content, worksheets, and intellectual property

The Service, interface, original text, branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors. We grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal or internal educational purposes. You may print generated worksheets for personal, family, or classroom instruction, but may not resell the Service, bulk redistribute datasets, remove notices, or imply endorsement. Open-source and third-party data remain governed by their respective upstream licenses.

Availability, changes, and termination

Maintenance, security events, provider failures, network conditions, or events outside reasonable control may interrupt the Service. We may add, change, limit, or discontinue features and may suspend or terminate accounts for material or repeated violations, fraud, legal requirements, or security risk. If we permanently discontinue paid access before its stated term, we will provide a legally required or commercially reasonable remedy based on the circumstances.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted and error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Our aggregate liability arising from paid Service use will not exceed the amount paid for the affected plan during the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits.

Disputes, changes, and contact

Before filing a formal claim, contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it informally. These Terms are governed by applicable law without excluding mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence. We may update these Terms prospectively; material changes will be posted with a revised effective date and additional notice when appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them, except where affirmative consent is required.
